Double Trouble Names

Yesterday was closet cleaning day.  The weather appears to be getting cooler, which means it's time to rotate out the summer clothes and bring out the cool weather attire.  I had Wilson and Reagan playing in her room while I went through her closet.

"Mom, what is Reagan's trouble name?"

"Her what?"

"Her trouble name."

"I don't know what a 'trouble' name is."

"Yes you do."

"What are you talking about?"

"I'm Wilson Christopher.  What's Reagan's trouble name?  Is she Reagan Christopher?"

"No.  She's Reagan Jacquelyn.  And it's a 'middle' name.  Not a 'trouble' name."

The only thing I can think of is that some of his friends at school have double names (Mary Kate, John Mark - you know) and Wilson has asked before why they have two names and I told him they had double names and he has two names too, but his is a middle name.  "Double" sounds like "trouble", so I think he got those confused, but it was pretty funny for him to ask about Reagan's 'trouble" name.  If my kids are in trouble, their names are so long it's not even worth it to yell using first and middle name.  They don't have "trouble" names.
